A Sight to Behold

I've finally seen France. THE REAL (american idea of) FRANCE. Today, I was in line at a bakery (where else would I be...) and I saw a legit frenchman buying a baguette while wearing a bright red beret. MON DIEU! I haven't seen a beret, or a striped shirt, or a man wearing a little red scarf, or a man with a ridiculous little mustache yet! He wasn't even old! Maybe late 20s. If only he were carrying a bottle of red as well... And if only I had my camera.

UPDATES

Since I was away for 2 weeks, a lot of things happened Chez Zerr.

1) Caroline found a new tango partner. His name is Tony and he's the best dance partner ever. She says he leads very well. The only difficulty is that he has a rather portly figure which can be hard to work with. But, he is such a good dancer that Caroline is PUMPED.

2) Minette, the cat, claimed my bed while I was away. I got back from Paris at about 1 am Thursday, and there was Minette, perched on the foot of my bed. She has been running around my room lately. She likes to sleep on my desk and bookshelf. It's so weird and I can't tell if it means she likes me now. It's a little late cat; I leave in less than a month.

Vacay

On break for 2 weeks. First week Greece, 2nd week Paris. Back soon!

Rock and Roll Hoochie Coo

Caroline usually dances tango on Wednesdays with her one dance partner. He will not be coming anymore because she said he hit on her. She was mad about this because it cost her a good partner. She still has other opportunities to dance, but it's not easy to find a good partner. So now today instead of dancing tango, she listened to silly happy 1940s songs like "Accentuate the Positive" and has now moved on to rock and roll. "Rock and Roll Hoochie Coo" is blasting currently.

I don't know what I'm in for!
